Skill 11

Skill 11 / Other
Eternal Enmity of Cows and Spiders.

Butterfly, Day 291. Nasturtium flower, eat to receive.

This is a really funny skill because it is basically "every curse Annabeth has received from a higher power from infancy until the age of 17." This skill basically means that cows and spiders will be inspired to do different things to make her life miserable! Right now it's useless in Aather because there are no spiders (the mods say, "no spiders....yet") and I doubt anyone is keeping a cow in their backyard, but it's a skill nonetheless and may one day be relevant.

And/or if you keep a pet spider?? I feel like someone had one at one point.

ANYWAY:
Spiders are now one of Annabeth's biggest fears! Basically, she has successfully unlocked the reason why she is so arachnophobic: spiders in a certain range now sense her and will act extremely hostile towards her -- attacking, biting, chasing after, you name it. Annabeth once says in the book that any spider in a mile radius is attuned to an Athena child's presence, so it's safe to say that this range is fairly large!

Spiders also seem to become more intelligent to attack Athena children, though maybe it's just if Arachne is around: they come in large groups and attack all at once.

As part of a curse by Hera, cows are now more likely to get in Annabeth's way. This is slightly more innocent if mildly more annoying for the person in question: Annabeth is more likely to step in cow dung! :( If for some reason Hera were ever in Aather, she might also find it in random places. Anything cow-shaped (like...statues!) are more prone to block her path and/or try and hurt her...in The Last Olympian she swears that Hera's curse almost made the gigantic cow statue fall right on top of her.

This seems to come and go, and is a lot less available than the spider one, but man you know one day Aather might get cows and then....then it'll be hilarious.
